Special events like story telling sessions and other activities were also held at the stage area, promoting the value and importance of reading.

Tickets were available on-site at the lobby of SMX . P20 pesos each and P15 pesos for senior citizens and students just present the I.D.

I bought their comics and the artist signed it , they also gave me a free baller.

Fully Booked!!! all of their books are on 20% sale, I bought City of Fallen Angels book and Shadowhunter's guide book from mortal Instruments. Most of the great books were already out of stock, I was just actually hoping to buy the soft bound version of the City of Bones but unfortunately, I only found 2 copies left of City of Fallen Angels, hard bound, but I didnt regret it, It is all for my love to the character of the said book , the warlock Magnus Bane. ( Watch the movie Mortal Instruments City of Bones and see how lovable that warlock is. )

Summit Media. I stopped by here before leaving the event ( cause I still have night duty for my work) , Luckily Papa Jack is having book signing sessions, and I did not wasted that opportunity. Bought the book from the summit's loooong line, then let Papa jack sign my book, he was interviewing me while signing the book, he is really talkative and funny hehe.

Best of Anime! I just passed by the area, entrance fee costs 250php so I didnt went inside. I miss cosplaying but I did not regret focusing on MIBF. It was really the ticket cost hehe

[EVENT] Diary ng Panget by haveyouseenthisgirl - Book signing

Today I went to the most anticipated Book signing event to young readers and aspiring writers.

"Diary ng Panget" by haveyouseenthisgirl , book signing event held last aug. 31, 2013, at National Bookstore SM Mall of Asia.

Yesh! I sooo love the story after I read the first book, I was not able to read the story at Watt pad, I think those were the times I was reading 50 shades of grey e-book, sherlock holmes books and other chick lit stories at Watt pad. But I was able catch up and bought the series freshly after they were delivered to the NBS.

I brought my book 2 and 3 DNP (someone borrowed my book 1 and was never returned, so I bought another book 1). I even got her a gift :D (unfortunately I forgot to take pic of it, it was a beanie hat with long bunny ears and ears flap from hatah hatah)

These are my books with ms Denny's autograph inside and a poster given after registration.

I arrived at around 11 am, and behold, a long line for registration. Registration started at 11 am, they will put red sticker with a number (mines already #97) and green sticker for the other books you brought. Only books brought from National Bookstore was allowed for registration, either with receipt or with price tag (any day the books brought) and no book, no registration policy.

Before the event starts...

Ms Denny arrived at the event and started the book signing. I was in the line outside the store! I was not able to hear her speech. The other people with 2hundred plus and above stayed at the back of the chairs (first 40). We with the numbers 41 to 100 should be at the back of the chairs, it was unfair to us, crowd control was not enough.

The admins entertained the fans with Q & A based on the stories (with prizes for correct answers), pick-up lines and jokes.

And finally I was able to meet her <3

Diary ng Panget was a story about a young girl named Eya, with a bit low esteem on her looks, struggling to survive for her daily living and her studies in a prestigious University, surrounded with rich, famous and gorgeous schoolmates. Her life is fine in a peaceful manner, until she entered the Willford Academy and met a lot of different kinds of persons and Cross Sanford, and her world went upside down.

The whole story is very funny and refreshing to read, and I promise you will be hooked up to their kilig moments. I can't wait for the other books! for 150php each, I definitely collect them all.

Viva Films also made a contract to ms Denny to have her story hit to the big screen, hopefully next year 2014. The book 4 of DNP will be out at sept. 14-15 at SMX Manila Book fair event, along with her manga adaptation of her stories "Voiceless" and "She Died".

Relaxing day on MOA baywalk

Last time, I decided to enjoy a day and relax from stressful day from work and EMS lectures. Actually it is not hard for me to study medical terms again, cause I already survived nursing and volunteered in pasay city general hospital for almost 6 months, but 48 chapters ranging from anatomy and pathophysiology to Emergency care for rescuers squeezed into a month (although I am really excited for the hospital training), my mind is easily get shock from overload of terms. hehe.

Finally I got in touch with my High School close friend, Noel aka "Chester" (one of my very few friends haha, I was afraid of the society that during that time, haha).  I missed our daily adventures at Mabuhay, in which we do.... nothing! hahah The Best way to relax :D

Anyways, enough with my emo whatsoever, we decided to watch a movie (The Wolverine, I might get a heart attack if we watch conjuring... Damn those disturbing images that will surely hunt me in my dreams), but we still have an hour, so we look for something to eat.

Finally... he remembered what he craved haha

World Chicken, located at G/F SM Mall of Asia, Seaside Blvd, Manila Bay Reclamation Area, Pasay City.
Here you create your own platter, each serving have freshly grilled boneless chicken, then you can either add 1 or 2 sidings (like Bacon Fried Rice, Spaghetti Pomodoro Fettuccini, Al Tono, Pesto Pasta, Asian Noodle, Mashed Potato, Español Rice, Potato Salad, Macaroni Salad, Cheese Muffin, Fried Banana, Garlic Rice Plain Rice) then sauce to your chicken (like Farm Fresh Mushroom, Brown Gravy, Mornay Cheese, Sweet Chili Sauce, Tarragon, Ranch BBQ, Corn and Mushroom Teriyaki) all just below 200 (with 1 or 2 sidings).

Noel enjoying his grilled chicken, pesto pasta and potato salad, and mine's below, grilled chicken, pesto pasta and cheese muffin.

This was not my first time to dine in world chicken, I guess was my 4th or 5th, I kept coming back for their pasta. The food was awesome, fast serving, and budget friendly.

After we eat, watch the Wolverine (210php each, SM MOA cinema), then relax at the Sea side

Relax at the bay.

And the day with mocha frappe and Strawberry and cream from starbucks. (140php for the mocha frappe and 160php for strawberry and cream frappe).

Look what I've got! the new Starbucks Card!
