Finally I got to see Phantom of the Opera Broadway musical live here in Manila!

My mom and I watched it yesterday (October 2, 2012) with 8pm show, we were in A 309 and A 310. Balcony 1 (3rd level) . Balcony 1 tickets costs P3,640.00 each (Ticketworld send me a text message that I can upgrade my ticket for P520.00 for each ticket, but unfortunately my cash is low that time :D ) I purchased my tickets last september 16, 2012, so I can pick the best seats available (within the dates of my days off) :D and then I ended up in Oct 2! (the wait is sooo very much worth-ed)

We left our house around 5pm (even Ticketworld texted me to expect moderate to heavy traffic :D ) I also don't want to get in line for phantom merchandises :D .
The show was in the CCP complex, we use the method mrt-lrt-jeep method from makati :D

from Makati (Guadalupe) :
1. take MRT then ride to Taft.
2. take LRT1 then ride to Vito Cruz. cross the nearest pedestrian lane to the other side then walk to Pablo Ocampo st. (see torre lorenzo plaza with starbucks, you wont miss it)

3. the turn right to Pablo Ocampo st. walk to  Rizal Memorial sports complex

4. then ride the orange jeepneys to CCP Complex (CCP Complex Shuttle Terminal)

(apparently the girl beside me doesn't know how to read and follow instructions... she kept looking at her phone in the 1st act, I ask her to turn off her phone during the 2nd act... God... it was sooo irritating in the eyes... and it ruined the moments...gaah.. )  

 the set is still covered before the performance ( I was anxious to see the chandelier :D and then of course I turned off my phone :) picture taking and anything annoying activities are not allowed during the performance)

 now we were allowed to open our mobile phones for 20mins and also take a washroom break.

The musical was magnificent! I almost don't want to blink so I would not miss any scenes and effects! Their voices are superb likewise the costumes. The transitions of each backdrop for different scenes were great and fast! I really like the boat scene to  the phantom's lair, the candelabras came out from the stage! And the phantom keeps popping out from nowhere :D

I just don't get other people saying that it is not that [insert word here] as [insert other musical]. The cast and the staff did a great job keeping the best quality and superb performances. I love their show and the movie version, my love for musical plays ignited again XD A dream came true.

I love how the effects on stage.... they were amazing...

one word. Perfect.
